DATA SCULPTURE
Seduced by its know-how and creativity, Cassiom entrusts its first Carte Blanche to Ludovic Roth. The DATA CONSTELLATION by Ludovic Roth is an opportunity for an encounter with himself: the designer thinks a sculpture and the artist imagines the functional object. For the first edition, he acts as a designer and visual artist and proposes 4 interpretations inspired by the constellations, art objects of a sepulchral black. The first of a series in the exploration phase, Ludovic Roth crosses a fine line between design, to give meaning to the object, and art, to plunge into the curiosity of forms. The journey through the Cosmos is for him the ideal research field to demonstrate that the frontier lies within these narrow limits where the beauty of gesture reveals art to any object. From his Data Sculpture was born Data Constellation, a strange and intriguing thing that borrows from the real and the abstract. The artist - designer uses the substances he likes, resin, coal powder and vacuum.

Séduit par son savoir-faire et sa créativité, Cassiom confie sa 1ère Carte Blanche à Ludovic Roth. La DATA CONSTELLATION de Ludovic Roth est l’occasion d’une rencontre avec lui-même : le designer pense une sculpture et l’artiste imagine l‘objet fonctionnel. Pour la première édition, il intervient comme designer et artiste plasticien et propose 4 interprétations inspirées des constellations, des objets d’art d’un noir sépulcral. Première d’une série en phase d’exploration, Ludovic Roth traverse une frontière ténue entre le design, pour donner un sens à l’objet, et l’art, pour plonger dans la curiosité des formes. Le voyage au sein du Cosmos est pour lui, l’espace de recherche idéal pour démontrer que la frontière se situe dans ces étroites limites où la beauté du geste révèle l'art à tout objet. De Data Sculpture est née Data Constellation, une chose étrange et intrigante qui emprunte du réel et de l’abstrait. L’artiste – designer utilise les substances qu’il affectionne, résine, poudre de charbon et vide.
